Its like a recliner compared to wide ride. My last wide ride kept breaking and Im done with them. Always felt I was not wide enough for it at 6' and 275lbs. Im not fat. The arm rests are so much better than the wide ride.

I did Classic I put in low rider Bostrom TooLow added 2x2 steel square tubing drilled holes offset got it almost centered Now if I could only move doghouse out a foot or so. Can’t stretch right leg out. Best take steel plate bolt to old spot drill new holes so it’s secure

I'm taking a serious look at the Minimizer. Pricey at around $2200, but far less than the Bose. I'm looking to extend my career for at least a decade, driving primarily on paved roads that have been recognized as the fifth worst in the country. Beyond paved roads there are also some pretty brutal dirt roads. I want to be able to walk when I finally retire at 80.

i'm telling you, the minimizer massager is so strong, it's like Major Payne....'you want me to take yo mind off a dat pain son? leme see ya finga.' the seat takes the approach of, if anything is going to make your sore, it's going to be the seat. once it's done made you go numb and u turn it off, it's a relief to get back to the road rumble, feels great. not kidding at all.

i wonder if there is anything important behind that firewall. looking past the steering link it's about a whole foot or two of open space between engine/tranny and the firewall. i could deal with some extra heat. and you could warm up your dinner on the transfer case.

So I bought a legacy silver, installed it and drove with it for 3 weeks. I hated it so much, I bought the Bostrom wide ride + Serta. I love the Bostrom. What I didn't like about the legacy (i owned one in my Mack and liked it) was the lumbar support. It stuck too far out and was hurting my back, it didn't recede enough.

I seriously considered the minimizer, but in the end I found the seat cushion to be to hard.

I'm willing to pay good money for something I sit in 50+ hours a week, so cost wasn't really the determining factor.

I used one once, well twice actually.
Later time to bridge the gap between the seats in a day cab Mack to get some shut eye.
Originally as a seat to ride with my dad when I was 10 yrs old , about 1972 in a day cab Ford hauling concrete sewer pipe.

Two years later I'm less impressed with it. I broke the armrest stop just by barely putting any weight on it laterally, backwards, something snapped inside and now it goes back past the seat back. The normal stop to keep it parallel to ground is fine, it just doesn't stop at vertical anymore. Also the seat cushion vibrate motor quit working, zone 3, arguably the most important zone. Would not recommend ISRI or Minimizer again, not for 2k, no way no how. You could replace both front seats with two decent plush leather marshmallows for that much and have enough left over for a nice dinner.
