I'm not particularly thrilled with the spring ride either but it's not a deal breaker for me. All the ones I'm finding are right at the 10 year mark it seems.

    RubyEagle and Rideandrepair Thank this.

    I hate to say there's a reason for that.....but I think there's a reason for that.

There is. Places like paper mills and large Shippers demand 10 years or newer trailers to load. Not a problem for me at all.

Had plywood used it for food grade 10 yrs . Bought 08 Trailmobile 2 yrs ago from Penske local shuttle auto parts trailer had 234k and abou 8 repaired hole in roof So far no leaks.I stay away from paper rolls alum and lead ingets anything too hard on floor. Good for food no holes no orders that’s all they want.

I would stay away from plywood due to damage. While easy and cheap to fix still time consuming

That’s when the value drops due to Automotive and some Paper mills require 10 yr or newer

Not bad Sometimes air ride is a pain anyway. No one hardly ever requests it on the boards. Recently ran into a guy with old Sneider Wabash. He swore by it showed me inside floor. They’re tough.Wabash started out buying Fruehoff from Detroit which was # 1 for years.I had a Great Dane. Good trailer but I like the Wabash best. Also Stoughton If looked at make a strong Trailer. I’ve met a few who did not like their Utilitiy dry vans. They are light weight though.Although I’m on my 2nd Used Trailer I still think new or 2 yr old best bet. Even 2 yr old $25000 if it’s nice will be better financially over 4-5-6 yrs when all’s said and done. Once they start falling apart they’re done Quickly
