thanks for the warning landshark, although i really don't see much of an attack from my side...i see it much more as a defence, and i think anyone with common sense can see it.
btw...does my decision to buy a house in omaha,ne carry such a bad conotation giving me instant bad reputation? now you made me consider moving. any ideas where would it be cool to have a house next?

I do appreciate constructive critisism...never had problem with that.
I'll tell you exactly why companies have problems with me...
I read settlements thoroughly and alert them when I notice they missed to pay or reimburse me for something. Trust me...THEY HATE THAT!!!
Here are a few of very last examples during last ten days... on two trips I got payed in average 30 bucks less for fuel surcharge than it was promised befor those trips. on third trip didn't get fsc on empty miles although promised by the planned. on fourth trip the fleet mngr although promised max detention of $225.00 at shipper ,in the settlement switched it into 75 dollar layover. when i ask to correct things like that they start not liking me. so...am i supposed to play dumb not knowing the basic maths? the answer is obviously YES.
not to mention several times JCT tried not to reimburse me for lumpers pretending they never got the receipts.
see, they are using all those methods to steal from drivers all the time and i happen to resist as much as i can. no matter how politely i try to explain i should be getting that money, the fact that i actually dared to ask is something they don't really appreciate.
and that's how i get on the "black lists". me screwed up? of course,...never them. -
When you are a team, how does jct pay the codriver. Does jct hold out the codrivers taxes then pay them or does the driver have to pay the codriver.

I wish you the best on getting your own authority. I hope it all works out for you, I oneday would like to be a totally independent trucker like that my self..but my life situation at this time doesnt allow for me to do so..I have nothing but respect for the independant o\o its hard out there and being totally on your own will not be a cake walk...Like I said the Shark wishes you nothing but the best for you and your family cuz thats all I want for mine.. -

If a dispatcher makes a VERIFIABLE promise and then does not deliver, you have a right to bring it to their attention. If they, i.e. dispatch, payroll, fleet management, etc..., get their panties in a wad because you ask for what was promised, then it's time to find another carrier.
I've had a few issues at my current company, however when I was able to prove my concern/complaint to be valid, they were more than happy to fix the problem.
