Traffic circles at every intersection wouldn't be cost effective in the prairies. There's literally an intersecting road (highway, main road, range road, township road) every other kilometer or so. Maybe where main routes interesect but even then so many people don't know how to negotiate them. There are 3 I drive through on a regular basis and they're a nightmare. People not knowing who has the right of way, no signalling, unable to hold their lane, stopping in the circle to let traffic in etc.

Edmonton use to have a bunch in the 70’s and 80’s. I loved them things, when everyone knows what they are doing things go pretty fast.

Just the dangerous ones, and I don't disagree with lack of driving skill, but the ones I frequent no longer have serious, as in deadly, crashes. Had to brake for an idiot driving a small car who was going to pass me on the inside, she didn't know how close she came to being flattened by the trailer pulling towards inside the turn. Once in dozens of times, though.

Most know enough not to try that.

Because those are the particular color of people who can't read english.... somehow they got through border security in QC, jumped in a truck and started driving. Thx to the sliding eyebrow PM

Another delay. Can't blame him for holding onto freedom as long as possible I guess.

The man facing 29 charges in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash had his court case adjourned after his lawyer asked for more time to review the “complex” case.

Defence lawyer Satnam Aujla appeared by phone briefly in Melfort Provincial Court Tuesday morning and asked for an adjournment for more time “basically to review the particulars, and it’s a complex file so we are requesting an adjournment,” he said.

Crown prosecutor Thomas Healey agreed to the adjournment.

Jaskirat Singh Sidhu, 29, was not in court and is not obligated to appear in person at this stage.

His case is now set for Oct. 23 in Melfort at 9:30 a.m. for defence election...

Jaskirat Sidhu's next appearance set for Oct. 23 in 'complex' case
Case of Jaskirat Sidhu, Humboldt Broncos truck driver, adjourned to Oct. 2

I was reading that he can appeal to a higher court where he will only be tried by a judge and no jury? Have a feeling if that's true he'll be going for that option because its going to be near impossible to find an unbiased jury. This tragedy has touched pretty much the entire country.

So here’s the rub. What if there’s nobody left alive to say he ran the stop sign? Everyone in the front with a view is dead

Evidence; truck ECM, phone, GPS, Fitbit, skid marks (or lack thereof), extent of damage, etc.

Don't laugh about the Fitbit, Google: Fitbit solves murder.

Accident reconstruction can say a lot. Simple angles and distances can give you a pretty accurate view and if the truck was going over 5 mph he's dead to rights.
