I just want to echo everyone else's comments to you Cfl Team - don't give up. Even if you end up having to take a job with a company not high on your list. Things will eventually get better for the industry.

now my license is "stale" and i will need to go back to my old school for refresher training? with still no job prospects out there? it'll be hard to justify spending money on more training in this economy....CflTeam Thanks this. -
No work, no jobs,... TODAY.
Try back in a few years...
Refresher cources are offered to students for FREE w/ some school's, be sure and ask them this BEFORE you start training.

Funny, my CDL says good until 2016. Guess the companies know better than the government. Suppose that's not hard to do though.

When I finished school in 2007 companies were all over me like a bad suit. (Or like flys on a turd.) Amazing how fast everything went down the toilet.

As long as it holds, right here. I think this will be managable for most Americans. Sure we're still going to feel some pain. As represented in this thread.
But produce starts running soon. So some of those hiring freezes should relax.
