Exactely. I lose 30% . Guess what i hustle that 30% back from the broker. I have bad day good days who doesnt. Pulled alot of ice cream loads at 4.50mi over the summer. Currently getting pork loads at 3.75 4.25 mi . I could careless about the 30% really . I get alot of perks from the company. Tolls 50% off . I stay off the east anyways couldnt tell ya last toll i ran tolls maybe oklahoma . Says alot about a company when you do a lease program (which i dont) and they allow you to book your own freight of the boards. How many companies do that. I can only name 1.buckmanmike and jamespmack Thank this.

So you made roughly 2200 after fuel. Not a good deal at all. To each is own but I don't consider giving away 1500 a week to run under someone else's authority to be some great thing.

It's not what you're "getting" it's what you're losing. And you're losing roughly $1500 per week. Add that up monthly. Even if you cut it in HALF, it's still a minimum of about $3000 a MONTH you're giving away. Again, to each is own but your words are reading just like the battered wives I see posting on the Lease Purchase subforum here on TTR.Last edited: Oct 12, 2018

Your using this week over all i have done well i have a 2016 glider with 192000mi i will have it paid off 3 yrs early. 70% isnt as bad as you think it is. When my note is 156000 on the truck for 6 yrs with a 5yr 500000 mi warranty that cost me 7000.00 overall my trk has value . Check the ads its worth 90g i owe way less. The warranty increases it more. So no im not getting ripped. With this company my profits have been plenty . Including a Pole barn i park my truck in. You can live very well on 70%ChevyCam Thanks this.

I was local for 17yrs at 70% most of my assest were accumilated from my local gig that dried up due to shipper out of business thanks to Obama. You can make it at 70%. I have for alongtime now

If you're using their trailer, get cheaper insurance, and cheaper fuel I can see making off 70%.

I been working half of my trucking career at 70% . I do extremely well . Grant it i have 3 rental properties i bought with lease contracts so i have extra income there as well . But at the end of the day i purshased those properties with 70% . Im telling you 70% is not a rip off. Your looking at the numbers left behind. I look at what i got and where it has got me in life . Time off i have each yr . This yr already i have 3.5 months off and prob take another month off during holidays. Sorry i love 70% .

Everybody has different business models. Im single live a comfortable lifesyle. Cost of living is cheap where i live that helps alot as well. But for anybody to say your getting ripped at 70% is a fool.

"He beats me because he cares."
You're not cut out to run your own business. I got it. It's certainly not for everyone. I know I can "make it" at way less than 70 percent but that's not why I bought a truck. That's not why I've busted my ### to get where I am today. That's not why I'm continuing to strive for even more next year. I actually run my own business from every conceivable direction. This gets me 100 percent of what I want. I don't do it to "get by" and there's no way I would let $36,000/year slip through my hands to one more leech. That makes you the fool. I'm glad you're happy. It's just hard for me to understand your mentality that's all.jamespmack Thanks this.
