as for warranty... none on the truck... purchased by lease... as is.
I have been lucky up till now with a lot of warrany repairs though...
Peterbilt can't seem to find reliable vendors for #### these days.
As for Recalls ... that would be interesting as I haven't heard about that. Not that a Dealer would admit to it.

The truck won't shut down Regen Automatically... where it should Usually within 45 mins to an hour.. Now i'ts already 2.5 hours and I have not seen a CEL... Nor has the Regen Disengaged. -
2 gallons use is not good at all.
I suggest give up the lease of that truck. -

Very Helpful... thanks
As for my original Debacle... I am trying to figure out a plan...
Currently in Kenly NC / Under Load... bound for Macon GA
Atlanta Ga is close... and with NO CEL... I am trying to figure out what to do so I don't wind up on the side of the road. Raliegh area doesn't have anyone with Incite till Monday Morning... My load is due midnight Tomorrow. Whether to chance it is the question.... only 425 miles to delivery -
Athens Georgia is where Rawze lives.
He knows some stuff about isx.LSTAR422995 Thanks this. -

And the fact I hate isx engines.

He may not want people knowing his home 20.........
I just bought insite and the adapter and a new laptop, all on the way. Not cheap, but way less than if I can't diagnose my own issues as they arise. Also for monitoring dpf kpa and efficiency of regen.
There are some videos where the dpf is just sprayed with hot water high pressure, then alternate to high psi air, repeat a few times til you just have clean water coming through. I read somewhere baking isn't really recommended by the engine makers anymore as it doesn't work that well. I am considering cleaning mine this way when the time arrives. Clean it at home. I'm about as good as most "mechanics" these days anyway.
One last thought. Have you ever done a top set? Cummins says every 250,000 miles. If it's off too far you may be creating way too much soot. Good maintenance idea in the very least.Oldironfan Thanks this.
