My one box will last all of your one boxes: Mine is sitting on the floor of my garage, while I run straight exhaust pipe to a small muffler...of course I had the ECM reprogrammed to eliminate faults, lower idle boost...thats right, it runs high boost at idle (VGT), and the fan kicks on at 195 and out at 188 degrees.....my truck runs cooler (2014 Cascadia) pulls stronger at half throttle and MPG went from 6.7 loaded and 9 empty to 7.7 loaded and 9.5 empty. (i deadhead about 20% of all miles so it helps)

I've had to do two (2) parked regens in 175k miles. I never idle except for unloads or warm-up/cool down, truck stays on the interstate at +60mph.
Zero emissions error codes so far, might pop it open some day to take a look like in this video but I bet it's pretty clean. The video makes it seem pretty simple to get inside of the thing.

Have you ever seen giant lumps of DEF in there like that before? The video guy says the problem is more common in high speed high load situations... active regens actually being LESS effective than parked regens. I'm going to need to get one of those dongles to force a parked regen now and then.

epa10 engines don't have this problem. Later ghg14 and ghg17 engines are coming factory awning installed. There is a special bulletin about early ghg14 engine that have this problem. I have seen it.shatteredsquare Thanks this.
