That's allot of money, for a "set"? A set for wide single tires?

For the price might as well stick with chains. I bought a pair on Ebay in 2014 for 75 shipped but now they are north of 200hundred. I only have 1 left and its tattered cause I ran them on wet asphalt.

Lol, regular chains will fall apart on "dry/wet" pavement too. But they tend to tear stuff up when that happens. Maybe you are still ahead on that deal.

    NO.

I am still hanging onto the drywall via the studs I have managed to claw into for support while suffering seizures related to straight up laughing this ####amamie right out of the broadcast system of Highway Thru Hell. A trucker was trying to use a few socks on his rig past his bed time and it's not working out very well on a dab of valley rain and a dab of smush snow with the really big dangerous stuff in need of chain. What part of chain required does he not understand? Event he Crown Mountain Police laughed at him.

Buy chains for all your drive tractor wheels, plus two.

Buy three chain. Put one of your trailer tandem wheels with the dual cylinder on the outside of a trailer tire. Everything else is best kept inboards. It might be ideal to have 4 tire chain back there with two in use on your outside trailer tandems.

That's all I have with one or several very important exceptions.

1- The United States possesses chain requirements for the States that have to have them. Be in possession of them before you hit the State Line. Each State has a chain season open storefront that will give you information

2- IF 'we' the Big Boys are hunting for a place to go to bed in the daytime on chain, WHY ARE YOU STILL OUT HERE on the empty highway? You do not want any part of what is fixing to arrive shortly.

Yep. Now multiply that by 4 (1 set for a spare). Worth it if you never use chains other than an emergency, but are required to carry them like me here on the west coast. They're light and easy to store.

And you can sell them for at least 1/2 price when your done trucking if they are still usable.

    Same thoughts as me.
