you claimed that a tow truck was pulling the stuck trucks..??

unless i see it, it didn't happen. you have NO valid proof of that claim

you claim the product is junk, but they are selling them, aren't they?

 

Ive watched that video more than once and it makes me laugh every time, ain't no way in hell that's getting you out of ####.

 

In my opinion AutoSocks are worthless too. I went over Snoqualmie with those once and I'll never do that again. When it says "Chains", that means chains.

 

What was wrong with them? I've considered buying them for a long time but didn't have any first hand reviews to go by. Unless you consider Kevin Rutherford a credible source, he's been telling people to get them since they came out and I'll bet he's never used them.

 

Those things look like a truck would rip them right to shreds the minute you got out of snow.

 

This review is not helpful at all. But were supposed to head the warning and not buy it?

 

its not rocket science if you know anything about traction and what it takes to get unstuck. Not sure why someone would think that one block strapped to the tire would get a vehicle unstuck. This is kinda silly trying to round up truckers to call iowa80 and complain.

 

I have 3 sets of Autosox. I like them because it lets me be compliant with the weight of a pair of jeans. I did use 1 pair one time last year and they worked just fine. Of course I’m sure I would of been fine without them too? But chains were required to move forward by law.

Frankly if I NEED to throw on chains I’ll just park usually.

I do not run in the west coast very often. So take this for what it’s worth?

 

Thats why tire chains go allll the way around.
