Any petro or TA with a shop will adj. A clutch. More like a 5 hr wait to get in only takes a few minutes to adj.

I can't think of very many TA/Petros that I would let touch my clutch.

You are correct in that the adjustment took very little time and was billed at 1 hour labor (minimum required). The wait was in line to get into shop. The rest of the bill was another hour labor to test and install batteries and 4 new batteries.
In the future I will have periodic clutch adjustment performed as part of regular maintenance during home time. @Dave_in_AZ .... you tried to tell me I should do it during home time..but nooo I had to push it. You may gloat but only for a moment. Go.

Sapp Brothers shops will adjust your clutch, I think they charge 25 dollars extra. Some TA shops will,TA Barstow has a full engine shop.

That TA actually specializes in clutches.

Thanks for the tips. I mostly run east of I-35 but I will ask around. There are a few Sapps out here but not at home. Hopefully will not need readjustment for another few months.

I would rather Dave gloat than be disappointed..that kind of stung. I wish I hadn't left myself vulnerable for that.

I had the truck in petro for full pm last week. Paid plenty for it. They charge as much for labor as kenworth. When I asked if there were a way to adjust clutch they said this transmission didn't "just adjust" but was a big deal. What do I know? My mechanical skills are limited. Plus I was not impressed when both wiper blades they put on fell off because they forgot to include the clips. I had to put my old ones back on in the rain. Kind of glad they didn't attempt the clutch adjustment.
