Come on now, I know for a fact that you can afford the Road Kings. You change trailers like someone running Recaps. Or just cut back on the steak house meals for your Co-driver. Lol........

    1. mount lower part of shock first. 2.I use a wood clamp with rubber pads on both ends and squezze the shouck together so you can line the hole and bolt up...bingo

I purchased my road king shocks in early Dec 2016, was promised they would be here in 3weeks. It's now the end of January 2017, still cant get what I paid for, spoke to customer service last week, they said "oh the shocks have been ready to ship since the prior week. Then he quoted on last friday, I'll make this right and overnight expedite them, when they didn't show up we called again, I quote "I remember telling someone about expediting shocks, was that you?" Still no shocks, what a nightmare, Horrible customer service

Ask them who the Shipper is and the Tracking Number, that will wake them up.

Hopefully you paid with a Credit Card, if you did, cancel the order, dispute the transaction with your CC Company and move on.

$2k for shocks. SMH. For that price, the truck had better ride and handle like a Caddy.

Road King is a joke. I bought 6 of them 2 years later all were leaking. I called them they would send replacements for $220 apiece. No thanks. If your like me your looking for a good ride and get manipulated into thinking you need $2000 worth of shocks. Don't make the same mistake i did just buy Monroe's. Just think if road king sells a St of shocks at $2000 and they sell at set a day that's $730000 a year they gross and you know they mark them up 100 percent. Also you know they sell more than 365 sets a year. Lonnie the owner is getting rich off of owner operators like us that have high expenses and low profit margins. Don't give them your money like me. It's a product that doesn't last.

I can't find enough posts to say what a bad product these are. Mine were shot after 3 years. Plain and simple I lost money big time.

Same story here... Paid for them in May.... On the phone every week for nearly four months. "One of our machines broke so we are behind on manufacturing". A month later, "we had some shipping issues with our suppliers". A month after that "they will be ready in a week"... On and On... Four months later I installed them ( three weeks ago) and so far so good but everyone else says they will fall apart in a few months, we'll see.

I know you're meticulous on your truck @Guntoter , do you honestly notice a better ride over stock?

I was considering a set of readings for the 8 bag on my Kenworth. I just dont know yet.
