Go to page 2 of this thread and read post # 17. Do you have a way to make a profit at the rates listed?Ruthless Thanks this. -

Badmon Thanks this.

For me personally, I dont see myself making a profit from sending my drivers a maximum of 278 miles.
My family has 9 trucks with drivers, no drivers going to drive 50ish/c per mile at that many miles.
I've just started a brokerage and am looking to haul long lanes, I've heard amazon has great rates.
To answer your serious question, Yes If I was an owner operator and the deliver and pickup times was good. Yes, I can make a profit off a lot of the loads on that list.
Please save me some time and direct me in the right direction -
How do you figure you could make a profit if you were an owner operator (driving yourself) but could not if you had to pay someone to do the exact same load?
Notice as the miles increase, the rate per mile decreases. Does your driver accept a diminishing rate per mile the more miles you assign him? Would you?Ruthless, JonJon78 and spyder7723 Thank this. -
It might be one argument if you could hammer off these loads in rapid succession. It is not the case. I suggest you do more reading about Amazon around this forum (start with this thread) and hear how a typical day goes when you decide to partner up with Amazon...
Ps. I don't have the contact info. -
I've had to accept diminishing returns, because drivers want long hauls. I dont have a choice. Thats why Im looking to find better rates for long haul -
You won't find any profitable work hauling for Amazon.
I have to unsubscribe from this one. This is depressing.Brettj3876, Ruthless, BoostedTeg and 2 others Thank this.
