You need written consent to run a PSP report. By giving a prospective employer your Name, DL#, SS#, DOB that is implied consent. No consent is needed to enter a termination report.

Op, you can file a complaint with the FMCSA ( NCCDB - National Consumer Complaint Database ) for them putting you driving without the application. They are supposed to build a driver file and that is part of it. I wouldn't even worry about dac.

When you go to work for these freeloaders who don't belong in America don't be surprised when they screw you over.

There's a material difference between PSP report and DAC/HireRight database. And when you sign your name, you're only giving consent for them to contact those specific consumer reporting agencies listed in the fine print. If it doesn't explicitly say HireRight, then they cannot contact HireRight for information. Similarly, unless you signed a form which lists HireRight in the fine print, they cannot submit information to HireRight on your behalf.

That's in-correct. By giving your info to a prospective employer is the same as giving consent. Filing a report after termination requires no consent either. Only thing in HireRight that needs a written consent is just a few states MVR.

Lol. If you didnt know this job was gonna be a trainwreck from the beginning....

And is the buddy that got you the job the same one who quit and left you the truck? Are you a convict on the run so dont want to fill out apps, or want to work a job where they dont require one?

Haha, my post was edited. Reason: No skirting the profanity filter. Loving the selective enforcement of rules on this site. I"m about done with TruckersReport permanently. Screw it, I'm done.
