I’m just at the point where I think it’s too stuck on that one wheel...

Autoshift certainly doesn’t help in these situations but I’m feathering it as best as I can... nothing.

To be frank. I’m lost between keep trying or stopping to prevent it from being worse than it already is...

Sigh. I need a drink tonight.

Spring of 2015 I was getting my project truck dug out of the snowbank. Bald tires, stuck in 10 icy ruts 4" deep. Spent about 2 hours with a sledge, boards, shovel etc. Only had an interaxle locker in it. Had I known, 30 feet away, dad had about 3 sets of 8mm triples hanging on the back of the shed. Could have saved myself nearly 2 hours

    That's funny!

I remember in school, prolly 3rd or 4th grade, a kid in our class was telling us he had 2 grandpas. Most of us said well yeah, everyone does, so what.

He said nooo... both my grandpas live together. I was pretty confused by that....

So one day I asked my grandpaw, my hero, " hey papaw, i got a question. Hows come Derrek has 2 papaws that live in the same house?"

Being it was a small town, everyone pretty much knew everyone and there business. He rares back with a comment, I'm sure a very ornery one....but then pauses and says, " son....them fellas are what we call "light in their loafers ".....something just ain't right with that bunch".

Years go by, I finally realized what that term ment LOL.

Sad thing is, the Derrek kid turned out to be just like his grandpas and ate sausage sandwiches. Some years later on one of his "grandpas" became a "grandma". WTF

Growing up, one of my favourite songs was Lola by The Kinks. It wasn't until years later that I had the startling realization that Lola was a transvestite

Most plants get their sand by rail from up north, usually Wisconsin/Michigan area. But these plants here in south central Oklahoma mine their own sand. Roff has 3 plants, then there’s Mill Creek just to the south that’s also a mine.

The trend has been building new mines with lots of storage. Several going in right now in western OK. In fact one of them just opened up a couple weeks ago. They claim to have enough sand available to mine that they can supply the oilfield at a hot-n-heavy pace for the next 20 years.

    We’ll see......
