    Thanks Truckdad. Yes,when I first saw that old engine,my thoughts were to build a trailer for it,add a radiator,fuel tank,and take it to the old steam shows,and let it howl. First thing that would have to change for a truck,would be the accessory drive,need a compressor,and change out the governor. I' sure other things too,bellhousing starter,etc. The fellow that owns it would probably give it to me if I asked him,but his farm struggles,he could use the money with what feed and milk prices are. My son and I will fix his Pete no charge,because I know he would help me if I needed it.

    I remember kids in high school doing that. Seems like they had to get it going about 35 miles an hour before it would work.

    Here's a 69 an old high school friend owns,we all helped in the frameoff restoration of it,finished it last year. BBC with a big solid cam,and 13 to 1 compression. Click on the pic and listen.

    Look in the background of the red Harley, you can see the nose of my gray 70 with the 402 BBC.

    The red 70 had a 468 BBC in it.
    The 55 pickup is what I have now along with the CJ5 and other .... stuff lol.

    And a pic of the 65 Comet Caliente I had... with my 1960 B160 International truck behind it.
