It’s depressing... I almost got stuck again yesterday leaving for dinner. Wheels started to spin as my steers hit the edge for the concrete...

Went from eating steak dinners and drinking wine to eating mayonnaise sandwiches and drinking ice water

 

Guess I better put a little something in the tanks seein' as my fuel pressure guage was doing the Martian Boogie this morning....

 

Situation:

Found a good guy to hire. Good experience, understands the goal.
It’s comingn into slow season n he needs to provide for a wife n 4 kids.
Do I pay him a set minimum that he can pay his bills and pretty much tread water/lose a little til spring time when I’ll NEED a good hand or let him slide?
