Ya know, I kinda got the same feelin. Then I realized that a fine, upstanding citizen like @Oxbow would never mislead us.

Bleh. Just don’t feel like sitting on my butt all weekend... wanna drop it and ride with something outta LA...

Chew and screw if you will.

    Also..........
I broke part of the Quikdraw today. Again. Wind took the curtain for a ride, smacked the upper deck just right, broke the “safety locks” for the upper deck that slides onto the rail... can still slide it on but there’s no lock on the passenger side.... bungee will work in a pinch I guess.

You haven't been around aircraft manufacturer workers have you. 3 mph would be considered lightning speed for them. Don't get me wrong, we work with the same crew down here at each facility, that's all they do is handle wings (skins, tails, completed wings etc.) and they are a fantastic group. But they don't do anything in a hurry and they certainly don't do anything without multiple breaks for each task.

I honestly think that they could probably condense their 40 hour week into an 8 hour day and still not rush. We talk about hands on here that don't rush but make every move count and get a lot done in a short amount of time. Well, think exact opposite of that, make a whole lot of moves that do nothing.

That's a weak point on those step deck quick draws. If you haven't been warned, allow me, whatever you do, do not let the upper come off those rails while it's open because you won't be putting them back on without a whole lot of help. In other words, if one of the safety catches is broke, bungee it every time regardless of how much of a hurry your in our how careful your being. One gust of wind and your whole day is done.

I am more than aware of that... witnessed it live in our yard durinf training up in Arlington...

So I’m bungeeing it everytime. I’m HOPING I won’t have any issues since the other side still works 100%... hoping they won’t twist enough to fall off...

I ain’t a big guy so if they do fall off I’m screwed...

Just gonna take me time... it’s pretty much a full trailer but I was able to load the upper deck after I broke it without issue so fingers crossed.
