Oh, hell my bad. Your down at peoria. That freightliner dealership behind the motel will let you park if you tell them your getting a room. Safer than that little fuel stop. There is a good restaurant on that same street before the motel. We park there all the time when we are waiting to load out of CreveCore yard.

 

Ok, Monster is put away fer the year. Going home to kiss the dog and pet the wife.

 

Yeah I did that the other day when it shut off on me.

I replaced the primer pump and did the motor mounts. She's running nice and smooth now.

 

Made Corning... at the Petro...

Gotta wake a little early and do some laundry... getting sideways here in a bit

450 miles tomorrow. Gotta kick off two in Valencia...

 

Not too concerned about time, but company only uses North Portal as far as I know. I'll mention it to dispatch when I'm in the office next. We were off the understanding the only truck port on that side of SK was that one. Thanks though.

 

Not a horrible stopping place for the night, lol, but being a mall parking lot I'm not sure if they want overnight parking or not. There aren't any no truck signs and the Shell here is the only place open 24 hours.

The place I picked out was giving me a bad feeling all day (no business pin on Google), and as I was coming into The Pas I was getting really tired. Combined with the increasingly heavy snow and my lack of experience with the area, I'm not risking it. Especially considering I'm not in my truck and don't have all my heavy winter gear.

Plus, I was about 2h20m away with 2h30m left and that's just too tight a window on a highway this far north in the dark.

Only problem is I'm going to be rolling at 6am and Timmies doesn't open till 7.

 

Is it smokey up there? Smoke in Sacramento is BAD.

Figured it’s only gonna get worse the further south I go.

Get my clock back at 0300 and I really wanna boogie to Wheelers Ridge and then break before I go play in traffic. Gonna try and get two stops done in Valencia and one in Corona... local boys gotta do the rest as I’m supposed to be moving this weekend?
