U.S. Xpress Strikes Again!!

Doing research is the thing most people don't take the time to do, some because they don't think they need to and others because they don't know to. The results are still the same...

 

USX won't be advertising soon, I learned there is a 6 month to 1 year hiring freeze for all drivers just today.

I think they are going to go belly-up this year.

 

They just put an ad in my paper a few days ago.

 

I started there in 98 and left in 2005. They went bad in 2004 IMO. When they went to the JBH model of picking up freight and plopping it on a rail car I knew my days where numbered. I went from doing cross country runs to little short runs with hours of delays and layovers in between.

 

Do you have any fact to back that statement up or is that your humble opinion?

 

I heard it straight from someone in the recuiting department when I called yesterday.

It is my opinion they will be gone soon, but the 6 month to 1 year freeze is true.

 

I'm not questioning the hiring freeze, they are among many who are doing that.
I was asking about your statement regarding them going out of business. Out of curiousity, why do you think they are going out of business, because they aren't hiring?

 

they sure spending cash on the arnold side!! brand new driver lounge with pool table and op's bldg in grand prairie tx building new something at jax terminal too

 

Well, if a recruiter answers the ph, states that a hiring freeze is in affect? Why is she still answering the ph,?
