For continuation of the non Advil conversation..

I was allowed to look at Playboy magazine when I was a kid, going back to 5 or so. Dad had a subscription and they weren't hidden away as some kind of secret taboo. Around middle school I had a centerfold pinned up on my wall, a really good looking redhead posed on a Harley. Tylyn John, Ms. March of 1992. My friends were all super blown away by the fact my parents allowed it. "Dude, my parents would KILL me if I did that"

Was no big deal in my world. No shame in appreciating beautiful women, as Women. Also got raised on how to treat and respect them. All part of being a Man. Perhaps one "side effect" of it was as I got older I didn't have any interest in ladies in my age group. Always looked at older, more mature Women. In fact, my wife is almost 8 years older than I am.

Wow. Landed like that proverbial Lead Balloon. Which y'all probably know is the Critics quote from where they were inspired to pick the name Led Zeppelin from. Jimmy Page originally called them the New Yardbirds before the name change.

    Story time...

The best times of my life was when I was younger and going down south custom combining. I drove the truck with the grain to the elevators. At that time everything was hand probed on the scale so there was usually hot chicks bending over the side of the box to get a sample of the grain. Good times.

I had a huge crush on a gal that was on another custom crew that was from our area back home. I was friends with her father and he ran about 5 JD machines and had all Peterbilt semis. His daughter would sometimes drive the truck to the elevator. You would not believe all the looks she got and guys coming over to chat. They just couldn't believe how a hot chick could drive a big truck.

Word would get around about this and everybody that had been running the combines wanted to drive truck so bad so they could check out this gal in the elevator line. Lol

Anyways we would be cutting in the same town and on the evenings we'd go on road trips and party all night.

One night I passed out with her and her friend in bed at the motel room and her dad walked in the morning and I remember him saying "passing the peter?" with a grin. I thought he was gonna kill me but that's all he said. I packed my stuff up and booked outta there.

I ended up driving truck for him in my later years back home but felt awkward being around him as I was embarrassed with what happened but he's pretty cool guy.

I was raised in a house full of women - no men (my father died before I was 2).

    So I respectfully disagree ....

For me, the first I really remember was a world famous actress that was also the sister of the PE coach at my grade school. I would have been in 1st grade so 6 and my dad had to fly to Kansas City to pick up this celebrity for Beef Empire Days. Older hands will remember her, Nurse Goodbody from He Haw. Her real name was Gunilla Hutton. As was the case very often as a child I would ride along with my father on flights, he was the chief pilot for a corporate flight department.

I had seen this woman many times on the moving picture box but as soon as I seen her in 4k, I was speechless, she was real and my oh my was she ever stunningly beautiful!

I hate you with every fiber of my being.

But I'll change my mind if you can get me an autograph from that Petticoat Junction gal.
