Hey guys, I’ve had an issue with with the speedo and tach not working. It’s an International 9800 San, 1998 model with an N14 celectplus and a Spicer 10 speed. It has gotten progressively worse since it started. I’m told it is either a ground issue or the cluster is going bad. I’d like some advice from either an owner who has gone thru this before or a mechanic who has fixed this before.
Thanks,
Brad

If you are only losing those two gauges, I would say it is not a ground issues as that would affect all gauges. The module could be failing, or you could have datalink problems. Swapping out the cluster module with a test unit would be a good way to see.

I’ll give this a try.

I believe it's the speed sensor on the transmission. At least that's what it was when my truck was doing that.
