Which "hard parts" are different between a 435 H.P. & a 550 H.P? Turbo & injectors for sure, but not sure about cyl. packs & cam. Thanks !!!!!

cylinder packs and camshaft are different, along with the injectors and turbo

Thank You, Mr. "H"!!! Any idea what the 550 H.P. part numbers for the 4 mentioned parts might be????? TY !!!

What are the suggested tweaks to a 435 5ek to make it run well without changing hard parts?

Make sure the fuel delivery pressure is within specs, free flowing exhaust & inlet, 5232 trim codes, sure helped mine.
-
Did the injector codes impact your mileage?

Actually seemed to help a bit, used 10 gal less this week tham last week running the exact same route. 225 vs. 235

Not trying to start an argument but i have 900L with muffler under the bunk, I bought a free flow muffler to replace it and since my truck had big air compressor and four air tanks from the factory it would not fit, so i hook it up straight, (for one day, to loud for me), couldn't feel any power increase down low and felt like it lost power above 1600. I put my old muffler back on for now. any thoughts on this one.

Good one Rockhauler!! Seems that the ASCERT's are more air hungry than the "E's". Wondering ifthe excessive sound might have been coloring your power feelings? Wondering what the pipe fron Pitts. Power would do? Jus' throwin' ideas.

Hello Rockhauler-
Maybe without some backpressure, turbo taking longer to spool up?
