    Fuel # $2.20/gal # 5.5 mpg= 40 cpm
    6.0 mpg= 37 cpm
    6.5 mpg= 34 cpm

Truck and trailer payments = 19 cpm
    Ins for bobtail/ comp = 2 cpm
    All Maint./ repairs/tires = 13 cpm
    Misc. including plates, 2290,
    tolls, eats = 8 cpm
    Phone/ internet = 2 cpm
    Health ins = 7 cpm

add that all up and give yourself ATLEAST 60 cpm for drivers wages and that is the absolute minumum a truck should ever move for. and that being said I am hoping that my truck catches fire tonight on my way to western oh

24valve, do you pay load insurance?
Bobtail insurance only around 2 cpm?

Thanks. I am getting a better idea on the cost.

Nothing is gonna be "concrete" because everyone's situation is different. There are guys on here with 2500.00 per month truck payments, and there are those whose trucks are paid for.

If you go to truck miles you can calculate your cost per mile, if you have some idea on what your fixed costs are i.e. insurance, plates ect. use those numbers,For fuel milage, price, miles per month I use worse case scenario that way you can get a cost per mile that is to me more realistic in these times,I may be wrong but thats how I figure it,Try to give yourself a little wiggle room if possible because things change month to month.
