It takes about 1-2 months from start to finish before you actually start your first day. It all depends on how many applicants there are. Once you do your interview, then they will have you take your drug and physical, then after all that goes through, they will offer you a job. The interview is very easy. Just put a gun to their head and demand a job! EASY! The hard part is the jail time, though. haha all jokes aside, interview they just tell you about the company and what the pay starts at, what the top pay is, etc. If they called for an interview, you are good to go, as long as the company feels right to you and they see you to be a good fit.

    Wheeeeelsss Thanks this.

Not important. All that matters is YOU'RE IN. You don't have to go through the hell most of us endured to get to the big bucks.

Now, you'll probably do their CDL class just to get you comfortable with what you'll be doing. They may start you as combo so you can gradually get up to speed with driving. Now is a bad time to start with no experience. I doubt they throw you to the wolves.

All in all, I'm happy for you. Welcome to the family. This is my first full year and I'll gross around 85K easily. Keep in mind, I haven't worked a FULL week in about 5 weeks, so pay is down for me. Good thing is, I saved all my money summer time.

Be smart, enjoy your journey. Be safe, at all times. Remember, it's your CDL, not theirs. If you can't do it or feel you can't, you can't. They'll made a way to move that freight.

Just dont miss a call from corporate at any time during the process. Thats the one thing i disliked most about the process.

I got tired of the phone tag before/after the interview.

Look up the recruiting number and have it saved and to somehow always answer. I was fortunate enough to always answer.
