Before you start bungeeing down the tarp pick your lowest d ring row and stretch it TIGHT front to backwith a bungee. That’s typically why tarps bulge out, they are loose front to back. That’s my secret to tight tarps jobs.

Also every d ring gets its own bungee down through the rubrail and stretched as tight as possible. I rarely do the “v” bungee method of hooking both ends to a different d ring.
