I came to find out it’s not like I’d like to see. It’s typical for carriers. They reduce your pay $68 then give it right back to you, tax free. Which is fine as far as that goes but would be better if they did not reduce your pay first.
That’s a nice pay scale but I’m happy where I’m at making less (per mile). There’s so many other factors that I have to take into account besides cpm pay.

I understand STexan, I am still giving them considerable thought. I like the fact that they consider themselves a "big boy" company and the drivers are left alone and not micromanaged if they are doing their job. I also like that they don't do forced routing...if a driver knows a way to get around an issue or traffic, they can do it without being called on the carpet. Still not sure where I'm going to land, but they are at the top of my list.

I saw that their starting up with Hazmat is up to .55cpm. Realllly interested in them. Shows they hire in Oregon

I have hazmat and tanker. Currently hauling chemicals. I’ll have to find a place to park. That might be an issue. Currently live in Hillsboro area so idk where I’d park

I ran with them about 6 years ago. Before they were "legal" and paid a lot less.
You ever thought about LTL? Were gonna be pushing close to .70 January. Home time will be better than what dynamic gives. Out 5 home 2. Only thing you sleep in hotel not a truck. Stay out longer if one chooses.Dark_Majesty_06 Thanks this. -
I just saw a video from "Mark" on YouTube "Trucking Truth" that has changed my mind. He wasn't bashing the company, but asked them some questions that I failed to ask. The answers were game changing for me. They pay HHG miles...that is so archaic and will cost you about 10% of your real mileage. They pay Layover/retention pay after 48 hours....whewwwww and detention pay doesn't start until you have been sitting for greater than 4 hours....but no detention pay on produce....I can't deal with that. It's a huge red flag for me. I love the fact that they pay a very high CPM and really would like to drive a brand new Pete 389...but I just can't work on HHG in today's market and being an experienced driver. I'm sorry Dynamic, can't do it.
BlueThunderr, Dark_Majesty_06 and stormy379 Thank this. -
Well that sucks. I’d still say they are high on my list though. No detention for produce is odd. Most places still pay HHG though so that’s not a deal breaker for me.

According to recruiting they have only 386’s open which wouldn’t be bad I don’t think. Sounds like they’ll be replaced soon anyways
