They're shipped that way so the wider and lower portion is off to the right side. I'll get a picture head on to one of them tomorrow and you'll see, the left side is high enough that a wayward 4-wheeler would impact the trailer first. Of course recently our biggest problems are 18 wheelers that like to cross the zipper while passing us and see how f$$$$$$g close they can get their junk box to the $3.9m piece on our trailer. Just Friday on a two lane just outside Findlay we were meeting a Smith dry box frightliner coming at us and instead of staying to the right in his lane to help out he hit us with his high beams, put his left tires on the zipper and forced us off the pavement.

Nope, the only airport within 5 miles is a small dirt strip.

And yup, we just need the aluminum tube with the kerosene burners to park between us lol

I guess I can see that now. Makes perfect since.

The OCD in me was making my eye twitch. I’m better now that there is a reasonable, logical explanation.

    Thanks for the information.

When I was a young lad we lived in an area that was close to Nike silos, once a month they used to raise them up. That was quite the sight for a 5 year old. Living in the area where about half the military airplanes and missiles were built, we were ground zero.

I've been searching up and down to see if I could find what you had said so I could reread and respond. This explains why I couldn't find it.

Years ago dad bought one of those silos up between Russell and Hays. It was full of water, mold and everything in it was rusted beyond useable. In the end he sold it to an investor with lots of money and big plans to convert it to, what I would call, zombie apocalypse condos for the wealthy. For a few years I seem lots of obvious photoshop pictures of these condos. They might actually be there but seeing what they had to start with, I think some dude was a master scam artist and that site is probably exactly the way it was the day he bought it.

I had big dreams just like my father but when the quotes for cleaning up the asbestos and mold were coming back at a million dollars it became clear that the silo was a big arse hole in the ground to throw money into.

Other than when the MI frost laws are up we come through coming and going to Toronto. Depending on curfews etc we sometimes park in N Baltimore or Dundee. Just turned out this trip because of the day we left, Memphis, Louisville and Ohio-Friday curfews we made it to the Petro and that was the end of the road till 0900 tomorrow.

    And I'll buy dinner lol
