We have received 6 from Grove and 6 from Woodland. We have been hitting while they are still struggling so we are increasing our numbers to support those areas. Probably harder out west with less DC's.

Kinda sorta, some trucks were set more sensitive than others with the sudden acceleration, deceleration setting when p-net first rolled out. Was hinted at that I might of been doing it on purpose, ya, ok. My back enjoyed the abuse. I bounced so hard in an international LT that I hit my head on storage cubby above drivers seat.

Yeah they are still bringing in those LT's up there. I would give myself a concussion in the dang thing with that big shelf over the driver.

I made an OPs manager mad commenting how filthy the trucks they sent us were.

The following are the minimum captains pay.
Let’s not forget commercial pilots can’t fly more than 1000 hours a year. So basically they fly 20 hours a week.
How many hours do you work a week?

    Based on interviews with captains.

Know a guy flying for them. He does about 250k good bennies. But he flies his ### off to make it and is home less than a crst trainee.

Lol, it's their own fault. Policy is to clean out truck at end of week. Even had a print out sheet that drivers were supposed to sign & check off stating they did so. Last straw for me was finding an arby's cup of piss jammed into cleaning caddy. I informed an ops manager, all he said was throw it. So I marched down and got it, went back upstairs and disposed of it into trash container beside his desk.

Its really sad how certain DC and management could ruin a job, and start a mass exodus of quality senior drivers

So go get your atp, fly with the regionals making around $15k for the next 4 or 5 years to build hours. Go get type rated in the aircraft you want to fly, get hired, and be an F/O for 10 or 15 years. Then promote to Captain and you'll be making the big bucks. You do have a college degree, right?

They fly more like 30 hours/week. And you're making the job sound way more glorious than it really is. Besides, you cannot compare a truck driver to a captain for a major freight corporation. It takes 3 weeks to get a cdl...and the company pays you for doing it. It takes a minimum of 2 years and $200k to get your atp license unless you get a full ride scholarship to Embry Riddle or go fly heavies in the military. But even then you are gonna be busting your ### for at least 4 years. Much more if you go the military route.

c/n: Your comparing apples and orange choo-choo trains dude.

I think you can pretty much say the same industry wide... And probably easy to say the same thing about jobs all across the job market
