    I am no big cb fan but they are essential tool for trucking. Guess them driving in track suits and head phone in don't feel the same.

    I’m not sure if it’s good, but the nightmare is making short work of it.

    Been out looking at trucks today.

    Looked at a 13 model cascadia with a dd15 13 speed. 540k miles

    Also been looking at older 379s with 60 series, n14s, and 3406e model cats. 800k plus miles on most of them.

    Been looking for info on deleted for the dd15. My pickup is deleted so I know the gist of what is done but the lack of a legit source scares me.

    The question is. Spend the 33k on the cascadia which is in pretty good shape but isn't eld or emissions exempt then delete or stick it out and just buy an older truck for around the same or slightly more money for a good condition one?

    Side note the truck would be used under the 8 day exemption so while the cascadia would normally need an e log a majority of the time the truck would run locally unless I needed to run it further than the 100 mile rule.

    I should note I dont have a problem using an elog on occasions for a few days at a time that it might be necessary depending on loads etc etc causing me to have to run a log book.

    @snowman_w900

    Looked good, brother.

    Was gonna head down and try a local joint in Roswell earlier...but knowing I gotta get up and burn some midnight oil I stuffed my face at the “High Chaparral Cafe” here instead. Had a “Mexican Reuben” and I’ll be honest...wasn’t half bad. Reuben with green chile’s on it, basically.

    I gotta find a way to get these Genies cleaned before I deliver on Wednesday. I’ve been looking for one of those cheapie car washes with a truck bay along my route...there’s one bout two hundred miles down the road. With my luck it’s closed during the morning hours or will require some sort of currency that I don’t have :rolleyes:

    Hopefully the guys at the BB in Laredo can take care of it if I pay for a van trailer wash or something... 250 miles in the snow and my whole truck and trailer looks like I’ve been sharing a lease road with @ShooterK2 for a whole day :(
