as long as the roads leading to the lot has not truck restrictions you should be good, don't let them do work on, it hire 3 security guards at minimum wage 200 per bobtail or 300 with trailer or container a month should be a fair rate there due to the lack of parking space or if feeling greedy and is close to i95 10 dollars a night will be attracting for some otr or regional guys. if companies want to rent it just be mindful they will work on their trucks and the last thing anybody needs is EPA on your tail

Research the TA truckstops. I think they charge $20.00 per night or equivalent amount spent in the store/restaurant or 60? Gallons of fuel

Thanks guys, that is exactly the kind of information I was looking for. The property has industrial zoning and is 8 acres so I hooefully have enough space to make it work. I will price out the improvements and the security guards per your info and see if I can make it work.
Thanks againx1Heavy and rabbiporkchop Thank this. -
8 acres..... rent it to owner ops for parking and post it in the truckers path app

I know,I know, the op is going to come back and say I do it all the time. Do a google search and look at the crime/murders esp. in that part of Baltimore.
You might get away with it once, but eventually, you will become a statistic. 343 murders in Baltimore last year, almost 300 ytd. That's just murders. Strong arm robberies, gun crimes, muggings, beatings, carjackings,so much of that in Baltimore thay can't keep track. Just don't.
That spot is in the densest area of homicides in the City.

I've lived around here for almost 70 years, and I've watched the City of Baltimore go from a great bustling prospering city of Industry, and turn into the most dangerous city in the US,an absolute jungle. Five murders in Baltimore last weekend. It is just out of control. If you absolutely have to sleep there again,be very, very careful.
For example this past Saturday in Baltimore,a woman was stabbed to death in her car, because she opened her car window,to hand money to what she thought was a homeless woman with a baby. Fake baby, accomplice male hoodrat jumps up,reaches in car, grabs the purse, stabs the woman in the heart. Dead being a trusting good Samaritan. Both runoff,no suspects,it will never be solved. Just another statistic. People that would do that, would cut your throat for 5 bucks,if they knew you were sleeping in your truck. I may sound like I'm going overboard, but the violence here is non-stop,day and night,a little worse every day.Ruthless, NavigatorWife, x1Heavy and 2 others Thank this. -

That's why I left nj and moved to a small town in Georgia close enough to civilization but far away from the civilization bs, a lot of those big cities have taken too much power from the cops and letting crime increase without stopping.
