True on the Aeomak.
Here in utah a lot of the sterling.R still on the Road even after the Union put Sterling out of business because of price dispute on what it cost them to build that truck. I was a service advisor for Sterling. Freightliner did buy the rights to the Sterling chassis so you could look at a Freightliner dump truck if you did like the Sterling

He says price is 3500 if I buy both but I’m not really wanting both so who knows what he will jack the price up to for just one. I’m probably not going to get it. It’s older than I was really hoping and from the sounds of it they weren’t that great of truck to begin with. Thanks everyone for your help

3500 for the pair. I can just imagine the condition they're in. That's pretty much scrap price right there.
buddyd157 and stayinback Thank this. -

Dam they most be complete junk for the price of both. If you will be using just on the farm and not on the toad you will be ok. But if you plan on putting on the road, you will need to spend at least 20k on one to get it sound for the road or dot is gonna shut you down real quick with a laundry list of fines. I’ll bet all the lines need replaced. Bushings everywhere. Hell list could go for hours. Roadworthy 10 wheeler dump will cost 15 at least

You need a complete and absolute check in a mechanics shop big enough to go over it really well.
Anytime a Semi or heavy vehicle (Any vehicle really) that sits a long time, you find that it hurts them to sit in so many ways they begin to rot.
