    Nice, I only have one suggestion for better performance, I would use 64bit O/S instead of the 32bit. You can do everything on a 64bit processing with 32 bit applications. You just can't use 64bit on 32bit. The biggest thing you will notice is how much faster that system will run. Trust me, you will be happy and thank me.

    I love tigerdirect. But they charge sales tax in 3 states, 2 of them I've lived in. Go with newegg almost exclusively now.

    Go to dellauction and you know the rest of the story. I have picked up a few deals off there. You can also check out dells DFS site. These are systems that come back off lease and they refurbish them and sell them or auction them off. You can get to the DFS site off the dellauction website.

    For a long time ACER held the market in notebooks and Dell was second. Acer makes a quality notebook. There desktops are less desired though.

    But will I be able to run my "favorite" programs on 64-BIT?
    Photo editing, video editing, audio editing......etc.
    The unit I bought is designed as a MEDIA Center and they recommend Vista Ultimate 32-BIT
