There are a lot of indignities when it comes to driving a truck. Expecting a clean tractor with a new mattress is not out of line. No law that I know of that says they have to do it. However, there is no law that says I can't walk away and go home, and I have done it. No APU? No cleaned out tractor? No mattress? NO ME!
Aamcotrans, tommymonza, Omega1 and 2 others Thank this. -
But the APU? I’ve only had one. Spent more time working on it, than running it.
I’m about to get another one. Hopefully this one is better. -
I really don't have a problem with the cheap mattresses they provide, as long as I can replace it when I need to. That means when there is a dent from my behind from sitting in the same position, and after I have turned it a few times to even things out.
When I can't avoid sleeping in a hole, I replace it.Tb0n3 Thanks this. -
Both of my S I joints are bad. I also have problems with my back in general. To this day I think it came from all those old mattresses I slept on.
bzinger Thanks this. -

Gross.
As desperate for dirvers as the industry is they've got some brass to start things off on that foot. I'd give them back the keys unless I got a new mattress. -
Which does not include Schneider. -
