We were allowed to raise the idle from 650 to 680 to avoid the automatic shutoff in 3 mins.... All the trucks we had pre 2011 was able to go to 1100 RPM and those were ISX's as well,

Not with a cascadia with an cm871. The PTO pin in the ecm has to be hardwired. That is what the origional poster has. The 2250/2350 is updated to be used with freightliner multiplexing switches

Low idle is a killer for EGR, DPF, Turbo, etc. I have our trucks programed with the Low Idle Switch enabled so drivers can rev it up using the Resume overnight. You don't need to have the Cruise Control on or do any other "tricks" with pedals or brakes. BTW these are International with ISX CM871.

I know this is a old thread, but i am having same issue with my 2010 Freightliner Cascadia with a 09 model year cm871(07 epa) engine. Currently using the wood block on pedal method, but would like more control to effectively use a pto/pneumatic blower i recently installed. My mechanic using insite software tried ever combination possible to enable it with no success. We even tried to reinstate the high idle portion of the regen switch on my de-mandated cm871, didn't work either. Anyone have a part number or a dealership that would know what im talking about? Louisiana Freightliner dealerships have no idea

All that should need to be done is to turn on PTO mode and set the RPM settings for it in insite under features and parameters, then just turn cruise on and use set/resume to change the engine speed.
