We just found out that Groendyke Tank lines has just bought McKenzie.
Hopefully thinks will stay the same. A lot of drivers here have been with MTL for over 10+ years. Many 15+ years.
We will see.

I just switched company's, got a great offer from a small chemical company , pretty good so far. I hope the drivers for McKenzie don't get screwed over .

I guess all the family members finally all agreed on something for once.

This should be interesting. What does driver pay top out at with Groendyke these days.

They told us nothing as far as pay and benefits will change.VIDEODROME and 88 Alpha Thank this.

Groendyke doesn’t have O/Ops so I don’t know how that’ll work out for those guys but I can tell you that Groendyke has turned into the worst company I’ve ever worked for. There’s been a lot of changes in the last few years and management are the dumbest I’ve ever come in contact with. Used to be a top shelf company but now they’re on the level with some of the mega carriers.

One of the Groendyke top guys made a comment to us about how they were amazed at the numbers of McKenzie drivers that have been with the company over 12, 15 and 20 years. I’m wondering how that is going to play out when that number of senior drivers gets in to the Groendyke pipeline???
