    Hello everyone!
I'm looking to purchase a box truck but I'm not sure which of these businesses will be more stable and pay the most.

    1. Last mile delivery
    2. Moving company
    3. Trash hauling

And lastly, from your experience, what's the idea size box truck I should get?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Is there a need in your area for an O/O box truck operation ? I wouldn't even consider spending money on a truck until I knew exactly what I'll use it for and how much it will earn. Once you answer those two questions you will know what size truck to buy. Don't meant to be a smart ###, but you will need some sort of a business plan or you are destined to fail...

although people move throughout the year, there will be many slow times, and it can be very heavy work, as well as delicate work as well.. damage one item, and you're gonna be paying a claim.

bakery delivery work is all year round as well, people gotta eat.

postal pick/up delivery from the main offices to branch offices is year round, but you gotta get in on the bidding process at your local main post office terminal, and that contract, can be daunting, but they do pay near 0r the going rates, of delivery services.

garbage work is all year round, people gotta get rid of what they don;t want or need anymore.

package delivery services is year round work as well, companies like FedEx ground is always looking for contractors with thier own trucks.

in each of these scenarios, what you really want to do, is what type of truck you buy,

you obviously, would not buy a garbage truck to haul furniture.

make up your mind, as to what you want to settle on.

Some people do pretty good hauling garbage, cleaning out garages, basements. Find some treasure on occasion
