Well your opinion is yours I guess. Every company has good and bad reviews you just got to decide for yourself. I took the chance l make money I have a nice looking truck and I actually run less miles then I have in the past 5 years and make nearly double. My last job as a company driver I was lucky to clear between 2-2200 every two weeks and that was running my ### off 16-18 hours a day sometimes in paper logs. So for me a nicer truck and easier work made sense. Maybe you have a really great company you work for, then stay. I made an improvement. That might not be the case for every one. The payments really arent that bad, if you took out a private loan for 165000 to buy a new truck and you got a 5% apr on your loan you'd still be paying just as much as I will over the same time period. Just saying. If you do the math properly it's not too terrible.

how can you run a business and you don't set the rates,refuse loads,and partner with competent personal. I say if you track failure it starts with the carrier they take egregious percentage rates, Hire incompetent personal, Then offer a lease purchase with expensive payments,and all of the run of the mill contracts and expectations.They are now lease purchase truck lots the charge the same expensive payments on a tractor they bought at Ritchie.. Etc for 10-20k and can get 3 tractors for 40k and sell them to drivers at 20-30k profit.

if you refuse loads or don't make enough that note keep coming and the company will get paid before 1 bill get paid in your house. I say how can you partner with a business and you only take the hit and not get paid while the office personal gets paid every week while you don't.

I'm not trying to recruit anyone. All I'm saying is don't always believe all the bad crap you hear, truck drivers ##### about everything. Sometimes the best way to find out something is to just do it and make your own assessment.

Landstar give me a break. Been there and I'll tell you they take too much but I can choose my loads and set rates. I can tell the broker how to split my pay to get more of my money. ie accesorial ,fuel surcharge etc.
