I mean technically if I wanted to I could use a broker. But these guys have pretty steady freight and most is drop and hook so I cant complain. I came from pulling a reefer to van and I dont miss sitting in docks all day.
Has anyone heard about tradition transportation

What I mentioned on my last post is not crap.
I started there last summer as a refer driver. After my first load I realized not only do I have pay for the fuel on my truck, now I have to pay for the refer fuel as well. Two weeks later. Zero in my paycheck. I immediately ask to transfer over to another division and got dedicated account running from Indiana to the Poconos. Same thing. Just two loads a week because they are closed on the weekends. I'll pick up load in Indiana on Thursday afternoon for a Monday delivery. A lot of sitting around. I even turned down a Thursday pickup for one that delivers on a Saterday. The driver manager takes the phone away from my dispatcher and was actually pissed off at me. So much for a non forced dispatch company. I finally got a load Thursday for a Saturday delivery but only paid $185. This guy sounds like a desk jockey. If he really isn't then he must be a relative of the owner.Last edited by a moderator: Dec 25, 2018
Reason for edit: skirting the profanity filter -
They stay in business by not paying to have freight hauled.

Trucking companies buy trucks right hire company drivers and pay them to drive then they monopolize and hire lease purchase drivers who pays the company to work there. Everyone gets paid weekly if they performed work except the lease operator. Sorry business for the operator great for the company.
