Conti vs Michelin steer tires, which is the best choice?

All that I can say is I despise Bridgestone tires. Not a good experience with them ever. Steer, drive or trailer.
Michelin all positions, Yokohama drive or trailer.

 

Michelin’s are known to last forever. Problem is, you need to replace them before they wear out because of age and drywall cracks. I’ve also seen them blow way too often.

I use bridgestones because they wear good and track great and buying 11R24.5 sizes, other brands can hit $700

 

Michelin is the most expensive tire that I've found. I will/have bought the xza steer but that's it. Drives and trailer are to rich for my blood. They are hard to find around me though.

 

Out of your choices I'd go Michelin from experience even though the company runs Continentals .I'd buy hankook personally, forget which one though. Same stats as a Michelin if not better and much less expensive

 

Continental used to be only lugged that had 1” tread opposed to 15/16. I heard they’re now 15/16.Brand new Set I had on repo I bought lasted and wore very good. I see T/A sells a lot now. Another reason if wanting to keep all matched. I’m hoping to cut a deal @ T/A on some drives soon. Hit and miss with them on prices.

 

Continental is premium General Tire brand

 

My last pair of Kelly’s didn’t work out. One tire was out of round. No more Kelly’s for me ever again.
