Does the fact that most Walmart trailer tires are filled with Nitrogen make them blow like that? And more violently? That was horrible

You'd think that Walmart maintain their trailers better than most of carriers which makes me think that If the driver overheated brakes then maybe if he'd kept going they would have cooled off but I guess it was the best for them to explode in the middle of nowhere, anyway. The fire extinguishers seemed pretty useless.
What makes sloppy drivers and noobs visible are the brake lights down the hill. An experienced guy barely touches them, letting the motor or jakes to do the job at appropriate downhill speed, you see very little of the red lights.
I hope the cop learned his lessen too - should have never let the guy under the trailer.
The dude could have easily died by a shrapnel. Correct me if I am wrong but those fire extinguishers are only good to put out flames not to transfer heat.Last edited: Dec 22, 2018

Ive fought brake fires before. If it's tractor. Unhook first and pull way up before anything. Hit it with the bottle. If it's trailer, disconnect tractor, pull up. Hit trailer fire with bottle. out or not get the fire rolling inbound.
Ive told stories about one fire and that particular trailer did not have landing gear so unhooking was not option. -
Just for the sake of argument the Supreme Court has ruled on this.tscottme Thanks this. -
