Wow..... has to be retail prices. One of the brokers I haul for, gets tires straight from the wholesalers. That price is passed on to me. They just add the FET and local taxes.

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Book shows that Michelin member price on those tires is $516 plus about $30 FET... not sure how accurate it is

Rideandrepair and Diesel Dave Thank this.

My truck had General Tire on all my drives when I bought it. One of the drawbacks is that the treads start chipping on some of the tires. Also, the sidewall on some of the tires developed a minor bulge. I had to replace one tire due to a sidewall tear that eventually deflated.

Right now I have Goodyear on all my drives. The sidewall looks sturdier, and so far the treads are not chipping.

Southern Tire has been good to deal with for me.I think it was $1150 for 2 FS591 steers installed and balanced out the door last summer. Great tires made from old Bridgestone mold, cheaper price though

    Seems pretty accurate.

I paid $1091 for 2 X line energy Z back in July using the National tire account. That price was out the door after everything.

I got the afore mentioned Bridgestone's now.

They are the cats pajamas. I use centrimatics as well.

But the ride with these is AWSOME.

It's a discounted program that certain fleets participate in. Tires bought under the account are priced at the same discounted rate throughout the country no matter what state you buy them in...
