Just out window shopping for trucks and I’m seeing a lot of Kenworths I like sitting at 30k plus but most of them are around 800k to 1.3m miles on em. I’ll be using it for the oil fields just wondering if that a lot of miles for these kinds of trucks

Eh it all depends on who had it before you... a 1 owner truck at 800k miles then sure that's a good truck... but a fleet truck with 200 drivers cycling through it, nope not a good truck.. see if you can find those 1 owner trucks.

buy the best cheapest truck. run the wheels off and then buy another best cheapest truck. those oil field roads beat a truck up good.

No I don’t just learning everything before I come in next year. And I’m wanting to save around 20k and have enough for maintenance or least put down that much and pay the rest off in a couple months. Should I stay away from ELD exempt?Gdog66223 said: ↑If you have cash in hand you can buy a good truck for 30k... Just curious, Do you have oilfield experience?Click to expand...
