But he didn’t demand anything out of the ordinary. The op got twisted because he couldn’t believe that someone would walk away from his $80k job because of the pet policy.

Would you hire a driver who had some pet peeves? (Drivers wearing flip flops and gym shorts in public at receivers, blocking fuel pumps to get 3500 calories in snacks, participating in rolling road blocks, and general inconsiderate prick behavior that is rampant today)

Maybe a little furry companion on the road might fix that rosy disposition of yours?[/QUOTE]

Nothing fixes my disposition. My disposition is perfectly fine. I'm a Grumpy Old Man in training.

I agree. Leave the pets at home. It's a job, not a vacation.

Id hate to see the vacation you go on, if driving otr is a vacation if you have a pet with you.

So in the sleeper berth, thats still not your home i suppose?

Wow. I guess I'm just lucky that I've driven for 25 years most of them with a dog and have managed not to run anyone over.

Have always let a driver have a pet. Wish I had pictures of the ruined interiors that I've had also. But sometimes it doesn't have to be a pet to be disgusting. wayne.jpg wayne1.jpg wayne2.jpg
