I wasnt talking to you. That was for Brian. But I can say what somebody makes in New Zealand or Great Britain or Russia is of no consequence to me I dont really care what foreigners make or the problems they have.

    SL3406 and magoo68 Thank this.

That's like me telling my wife and kid that they should feel lucky that I beat them and and lock them in the basement 18 hours a day cause the neighbor killed his wife and kid.
Who gives a rats a55 what new zealand does.

I thought you and I were talking about parking at the truck stop, or wherever for ten hrs......you've gone to a totally different discussion.

I never told you it wasn't a big deal to lose money. I told you it wasn't a big deal to find somewhere to park. Then you hit scenario about a load that takes 10.5 hrs and you hit a traffic jam. Again, I just adjust for that load. I didn't know you were an owner, like it really matters anyway. Who likes missing out on money? With your last two posts, you're slick trying to change this to an "I hate Elogs" discussion. Plenty of threads on that topic. I just remembered that it was a thread about cheap fuel. Sorry you missed out on money. Better luck tomorrow.

    LOL.
A thread about finding cheap fuel cannot last more than 3 or 4 posts, there is not that much to say really. There is that fuelbook app and you sort it by the price less IFTA. It's all there is. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

It turned into an anti elog I want to drive illegal like before thread.

I bet a man with a paper log book would do whatever it took to get that 1,100 mile load done.

I can attest to that. 800-1000 miles a day was a norm for me awhile back. Don't worry though. I am a dog on a leash now and there is no way I'm buying a 20 year old truck either. Not my kind of hobby.

I run a 500 mile radius here. I can't remember the last time I booked an 1100 mile run in the past 10 years. I wasnt talking about running 5,000 miles a week solo. I was talking about missing loads by 30 minutes or something when I wasnt tired or unsafe because of a stupid regulation. For an ### kissing company driver like you that means losing about $50 on your day. It has bigger consequences when it's all on you.

    I understand.
If I was an owner operator on paper logs I would do whatever it took to get the load there on time too. If it meant driving tired, driving after being awake for 20 hours, I'd do it too.
Just drink 4 or 5 energy drinks and get a big mug of coffee, maybe even pour an ice cold bottle of water on my head as I drove down the highway,
    50 bucks. LOL

RC isn’t talking about huge time blocks that need fudging just the 30 min to a hour or so that makes the week go smoother ... The only people I hear saying plan better often run recap so 8 hour days are the norm not 10 to 10.5 which can be greatly affected by things you can’t plan around
