Stuck in El Paso. Delivered early this morning then sat for 2 hours. Drove back to the east side of town, now parked @ the J. Judging by the crappy weather (on I-10 west of here) maybe I caught a break.

Service plaza on 80 west of Toledo. Have a load going to Denver.
Had to get a battery replaced earlier today. Truck needed a jump yesterday morning even though it was only off for about 10 hours. Idled the truck last night and the battery box reeked of sulfur/rotten eggs this morning. New Boston got me in and out in just over an hour.
I thought my batteries had been getting weaker over the last couple of weeks but wasn't sure. Even if 50-60 degree weather the truck would cut 12v power after about 12 hours with nothing but my cooler running. -
Tulare ca at the loves.
Made the delivery in Lindsay ca. Sat for about half hour with no preplan.
So called dm and he said pretty slow up here.
He has 2 other drivers in the area and both have loads that picks up tomorrow.
So he said I could come here.
Still nothing on Mac 30 either. -
At this point I'm not concerned with loads. I've been stacked to get me home on time.
On the other hand, I've just watched the worst of the DC comic movie series.
Can anyone venture a guess as to what is was?
Here is a hint...
It was oh so green.FerrissWheel Thanks this. -
At home near Phoenix. I sat over 24 hours in El Paso without a preplan. Last night I was told that El Paso had 32 more trucks than loads, this morning that number had jumped to 48. I was # 18 on the list (based on PTA), #1 had a PTA of 12/27. I dropped my MT at the terminal and bobtailed home.

I so wanted green lantern to be better. One of my childhood favorites.
Though I was pleasantly surprised with wonder woman. That was a character I never really liked till the most recent movie.
Now if we could get Lucifer to be 1/10th as smart as he is in the comics, I might get out the DC pride flag. Heres hoping Netflix turns up the IQ Points.Moosetek13 Thanks this. -
Green Lantern could have been so much better.
I just started watching Lucifer.
For the foremost fallen (or evil) angel he seems lacking in many ways, as does the story line.
The premise of the devil getting a bad rap and is now just out for a vacation and good time is fine, but some of the back story and interactions with the 'good' angel could use some work.
Perhaps Netflix staffing needs a higher IQ in general?
But who knows. Maybe there is something coming that will redeem them. -
The problem is that it started with Fox. And they apparently made the whole thing by seeing the covers of the comics lulz..... Netflix is new to the game with season 4.... So we shall see what happens.
Lucifer himself almost backslides every season. They spend a season building him up, only to immediately dumb him back down the next. Can't have too much character development apparently.
Amenadiel gets developed in a very pleasing way, he is a favorite of mine in the series. Especially towards the end of season 3. Which is good because the Amenadial from the comics was an outright douche, who basically assumed control of heaven in the absence of Michael or "the presence" as DC refers to God. He just assumes by default Lucifer is up too no good and trys to foil his plans for basically no reason.
And Fascinatngly enough in the first series of Lucifer comics, Lucifer spends the entire time on a quest to both restore Michael, and creates his own Universe. Dealing with more sinister supernatural entities than even himself along the way.
The comic Lucifer bears no resemblance to the fox show. But then I would never expect a TV character to recapture the depth. As Lucifer written by Neil Gaiman was not something readily accessible to the mass audience. And obviously Fox was going to make him very generic in doing so.
The only Neil Gaiman adaptation I've been mostly Satisfied with was American Gods. And that's because they mostly got the characters right.
As a Neil Gaiman fan I don't recommend Lucifer the show. But it has it's own points as a cheasy comedy. And I'm hoping Netflix will dare to go where Fox did not.Moosetek13 Thanks this. -
Phoenix az at the terminal.
Woke up to a preplan that picked up at Ross dc in shafter ca and delivered to jb hunt here in pheonix.
Stopped at jurupa terminal on the way here to get the ifta stickers and other ood permits.
Had a running light out on the truck and license plate light out on the trailer. So got that fixed there too.
No mt trailers at in hunt so drove over to lNda express to get dinner and came here to eat and do laundry.
No preplans yetRugerfan Thanks this. -
I'm in Utica, IL at the Love's.
I picked up my third stacked load this afternoon at the Costco in Morris, headed to Maplewood, MN.
I get there on the 6th, which is the day before my home time request, so I'm considering this my home time load.
I should be on safety hold come tomorrow anyway, since my med card expires Friday.
My previous load t-called at Gary. Luckily I found a good mt there.
