    High beam

Now if I hadn’t threw the boxes out last year I could tell you what ones these are.

I’ll post up the same setup with the trux led next time I’m in that truck. You’ll see the difference pretty easy.

In the pics I couldn’t either. Lot more range tho on high. Prolly if I did it at the end of the street it’s easier to see the difference lol
I just didn’t think of it til I was at the yard.

Good to hear. I’ve been thinking about a set of these but never known someone that had them.

My b day is in February so maybe the truck fairy will bring me a set?

Keep me posted on how they continue to perform?

    Ruthless,

Have you tried lowering the beams? They look like the center of the beam is higher than the high beams. Notice how the cutoff is well above the box truck on the low beam shot, the highs are not lighting up the tree trunks.

    Just a thought,

    Steve

if you guys buy led - buy heated , i didn't even know about their existence ...i think i paid 450 for 2 low beams last year , but in winter after 10 min in the snowstorm - you drive blind because snow is sticking to the light and never get melted

Yeah. Low beams should be aimed DOWN at the ground. I imagine you get flashed all the time to turn off your high beams.

    cke and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

The ground at the tree line across the street is about 7’ lower than the bottom lip of my bumper, the white cab over truck is grounded about 3’ lower yet.

I don’t get flashed with this truck at all for high beams. The other truck w the trux brand- i do occasionally. Those don’t scatter light very appropriately for effective road driving: the reason for my dislike of them.

Looking at those pics again Steve, I think I swapped the low and high pictures :/

Guess it's just a viewing angle illusion. Sorry. It's a bit of a pet peeve.
