Sounds like the company is trying to keep me. Just gave me a run to Georgetown SC. As soon as I’m done with this one. Take a 34 then go.
All this talk about picking up dedicated runs there.

I never thought I’d be sitting in a T shirt, short pants, and flip flops on New Year’s Day. I’m on the coast of South Carolina. Waiting to deliver in the morning.
Keep telling my cat that I don’t think we’re in South Dakota anymore.

 

Here I sit. Just got home. No more of driving my car 10 hours one way for home time. Only have one day at home. Then leave for my new job. Looking forward to it. Good company. OTR Reefer.
I now have one year experience. Lets call it Regional. I put in 123,000 miles in the past year. Driven in 26 states.
Very very much looking forward to Monday.

 

Ok. Orientation is over. Got my truck. Being routed home. Should be home, Friday night.
I got a 2018 Pete. Shure is sweet driving. Lotsa room inside too. If I want. I can have a brand new Ultraloft in the spring. Not sure I’m interested?

 

579.... single bunk. It’s really nice on the inside. Lots of room and storage. Love how the shelf is set up next to bed. Bed is huge! Love it! Woke up this morning thinking this is great. It definitely competes with a Volvo in the nice category.

MX13 paccar. Not crazy about paccar. It’s adequate.
Did I mention she drives super sweet? Love driving her. Definite competition for Volvo.
Company told me I can have a brand new Ultraloft in the spring if I want it.
I’m going home to pick up my Co-driver.
She loves trucks. Am sure she’ll love this one. Taking 5 days off. Need it badly.

 

I have found this set up right for backing. She’s much easier to back. Picking up on it quickly.
I can only rationalize that the tanker and tractor just weren’t too good for backing. Not set up right?
