I’m worried about safety. When drivers are smoking and I have to walk or drive through their 2nd hand smoke, I feel anxiety and very unsafe..Is it time to outlaw it?
Are smoking drivers are a safety issue?

I don’t smoke cigarettes. I smoke pot. It shouldn’t be an issue for you. Since it’s legal in more and more states.
No health hazards either. According to Stoned magazineLepton1, D.Tibbitt, Lumper Humper and 3 others Thank this. -

If anything I should be dead growing up in a leaded paint house with varnish and 100 year old death trap by fire wood in three stories.
Or going around some of the heavy industry with the asbestos. One of my elementary schools was closed specifically because of that material and we ran around in it for years.
Let's not forget my life long association with steam. You learned to deal with the cinders when the engine has a sort of a cold depending on the combustion patterns now and then. I actually have lime powder and cement damage inside my trachea near the lungs. It's verifiable by MRI from trucking in bulk with that stuff. Lime in particular. That's my kryptonite. They called me spaceman what with the kit I had to wear to filter the air while unloading that stuff. I should be happy it's not powdered lead or something outrageous.tucker, D.Tibbitt, stillwurkin and 4 others Thank this.
