I quit smoking over 20 years ago. Still, every now and then I catch just a whiff of cig smoke and it tries to ignite that urge to this day, There are certain times when I find myself reaching to my shirt pocket to grab that pack.
Are smoking drivers are a safety issue?

The fat kid smoking...is a legit thing.
The Smoking Baby: Where Is He Today?
He was like 2 or 3 I think when it went viral.

I smoke, but I try to be respective of others...to a degree. I won't smoke in your home, or car without asking, I'm polite like that. At the same time...you ride with me, or come hang out...I'm not going to NOT smoke..
An yes, ex-smokers can be the worse. They can get all pissy and anal. Just because you quit doesn't mean you need to preach to someone who smokes. Go about your smokeless day, an let me enjoy mine. #####ing at me is only going to make me laugh at you while enjoying my smoke.
Like I said above. I try to be polite about it, but I have my limit.
I don't live my life to cater to you, so kindly keep to your own life an leave me to mine.
Thankfully I don't have to deal with as many busy bodies who feel the desire to tell me how to live my life these days.

Also every time I leave home I feel like I'm forgetting something. My routine was to check my pockets in a specific order. Wallet, keys, cell phone, smokes. Old habits die hard for sure..Grubby, otherhalftw, Dan.S and 3 others Thank this. -
I’m going to quit very soon.Worst habit I’ve ever had.Despite all the benefits ( like breathing ) I still love to smoke. It sure would be nice to not be controlled by cigarettes. They’re just a hassle. Stinky, expensive. I keep telling myself “I learned to smoke, I can learn to not smoke.Quit mind altering substances 32 yrs ago, including Alcohol, Still smoking, it’s a wonder I’m even alive, I know of so many that are gone. Just want good quality of life while I’m here. Talk is cheap.Im gonna really do it.

I forgot to include in my post it's not all ex-smokers or non-smokers who act that way. Just the more vocal of those groups. I can respect folks wishes in their own choices, I expect the same in return though.
So I got no issues with those who have quit. Good on you I say, an I mean that.
Someday I will drop my bad habit, but til I'm ready...why lie to others or myself about it? I know better.
Me smoking has kept my criminal record free an clear. Take my smokes an that'll probably change.Kinda like coffee drinkers. Now that's a group of crazy people!
An yes, it pisses me off whenever I see someone flick a lit cigarette out the window of a moving vehicle. Really grinds my gears. Comes from living in dry areas that are prone to wildfires, I guess.
Sirscrapntruckalot - It ain't my job to judge you, someone else already has that gig.Grubby, otherhalftw, IluvCATS and 2 others Thank this. -
I quit smoking 8 years ago. I don't miss it much anymore. The smell used to make me feel sick but it doesn't anymore. I sure feel a whole lot better. I'm in much better shape than I was then, but those of you who want to smoke cancer sticks go right ahead. It's your life.
Grubby, otherhalftw, Lepton1 and 1 other person Thank this. -
I think there are more harmfull fumes coming from the vehicles traveling on the nearby road than what you get from a whiff of ciggarette smoke....
I'm a smoker but I don't get the people that will walk outside, just outside the door, and light up. Move away from the door and stay down wind at least. Just common courtesy.
